Verity Hyde

Originally from Harvey, Western Australia, Vez moved to Brixham when she married the man of her dreams, Joe Hyde.

Vez now works for the NHS.

Vez and Joe are now proud parents to 3 boys; Lindsey, Casey and Quinn.

Vez has taken an increased leading role in the Church since Jonathan Petts left in 2023 and retains responsibility for the Children’s work and Youth.

Paul Black

Paul Black has been in church leadership for over 40 years and was ordained as an AoG minister 10 years ago.

He is married, has 2 married children and 8 grandchildren.

Paul worked for the Prudential Assurance Company as a local agent for 30 years selling of mortgages, pensions, life insurances, car and house insurances. The discipline and self motivation he had to show managing time and attaining goals has carried over into his work for BCC. He is passionate about the church, works diligently behind the scenes and is the first point of contact for many of our members.
